This short narrative film was made entirely with a smartphone during the height of the COVID-19 lockdown. In a playful and absurd tone, it follows six friends trying to celebrate Soodeh’s birthday via video call—until an unexpected challenge requires their collective creativity. I co-wrote, co-directed, and edited the film alongside Aylin Abbasi. Pass it to Soodeh was awarded Best Selfie Short Film at the inaugural “Selfie20” Independent Short Film Festival in Tehran, and was officially selected for Ojo Móvil Fest in Lima.
